The Black Sea has claimed a new victim. A 58-year-old Romanian tourist drowned on Thursday morning.

The woman's body surfaced minutes after 11.04 am yesterday, 27 August, in the area near rescue post No. 18 near the Dune hotel in Sunny Beach.

The Romanian woman was on vacation in Bulgaria and stayed at the resort complex. Her body was transported for an autopsy to the Forensic Medicine Department at the University Hospital - Burgas.

Pre-trial proceedings have been initiated in the case. | BGNES
