Harry Kane has revealed that England have held a meeting regarding potential racist abuse they could receive when they travel to Serbia in a World Cup qualifier tonight. He has promised to "do whatever it takes" if a situation of this arises in Belgrade.
Kane was part of the Three Lions squad for the 2019 match against Bulgaria in Sofia, when the match was repeatedly stopped due to racism.
"We had a meeting, we discussed the protocols, more from a UEFA perspective. We don't like to talk about that, we want to focus on the game and how to beat Serbia on the pitch. We are prepared to do what the UEFA protocols allow us to do. I think we dealt well with the racist abuse in the match against Bulgaria. It won't be any different now", the Bayern Munich striker said.
The Three Lions go out tonight at the "Mala Marakana" in search of a fifth consecutive victory in the qualifiers. | BGNES
