US President Donald Trump said he would cut short the 50-day deadline he had given Russian President Vladimir Putin to end the war in Ukraine.

"I'm disappointed in President Putin, very disappointed. We're going to have to rethink the situation and I'm going to cut short those 50 days that I gave him - I'm going to make them shorter," Trump told reporters.
