British Prime Minister Keir Starmer has announced that the United Kingdom will recognize a Palestinian state in September unless Israel takes significant action in Gaza - including a ceasefire agreement.

London has successfully delivered the first humanitarian aid airlift to Gaza.

"I have always said that we will recognize a Palestinian state as a contribution to a genuine peace process at a time of maximum impact for the two-state solution," Starmer stressed.
"Now, when that solution is under threat, the time for action has come," he added. | BGNES
