Brianna LaPaglia’s Reaction After Zak Bryan’s Messages Were Revealed

The 26-year-old LaPaglia said the singer had “insulted” her and sent her “horrible things” before her long and emotional reply.

Brianna LaPaglia remained unfazed by former boyfriend Zak Bryan’s attempts to “provoke” her, Page Six reported. In the latest episode of the podcast BFFs, she laughed and called the singer “f--king stupid” for posting screenshots of her old messages, which he shared and then deleted from his Instagram Stories earlier this week.

“He... actually confirmed everything I’ve said,” LaPaglia commented, initially worried that Bryan had shared nude photos of her. “I don’t understand what his intention was with this.” The messages he posted included a text from Brianna sent after their breakup, where she responded to rumors that Bryan had fled the state instead of entering rehab.

The 26-year-old LaPaglia said the singer had “insulted” her and sent her “horrible things” before her long and emotional reply. “My message is really kind and shows how much I loved him and how much I was under his control,” she said. “That’s all it proves... and it’s very sad.”

LaPaglia also openly discussed another text Zak posted—in which she talked about the possibility of signing a nondisclosure agreement (NDA) proposed by his team, which she ultimately declined. She firmly denied trying to blackmail her ex, stating, “There’s no point. If I wanted to blackmail you, I would have taken the money I was blackmailing you for.”

Brianna became a media topic after sharing her own “evidence,” which she later regretted and called “a stupid move.” “I don’t want to get caught in that trap anymore,” she explained.

Additionally, LaPaglia admitted she shouldn’t have threatened to release footage alleging emotional abuse by Bryan after he attacked her with a TikTok comment calling her “not nice.” She shared that this provocation was an attempt to “get under her skin,” as Bryan had told her she “isn’t nice when defending herself.”

LaPaglia does not know why the musician “explodes” on social media but suspects it’s “a tactic to bring me down” while she is finally “happy and okay.” She also mentioned that Bryan re-followed her aunt on Instagram while her family was on vacation.

“I’m just laughing at it right now because, damn, I would still be dealing with it,” she noted. “Nothing has changed. Absolutely nothing. Honestly, it amuses me. I’ve already been through it.”

Bryan’s press representative did not immediately respond to Page Six’s request for comment.

The singer of “Something in the Orange” ended his relationship with LaPaglia in 2024 after they had been together for a year. The Grammy winner, who is now with Hannah Duncan, was previously in relationships with Deb Pfeiffer and was married to Rose Madden between 2020 and 2021.

While Brianna and her co-host Josh Richards discussed the scandal on the podcast, Bryan’s ex-wife Rose joined via FaceTime. “All this time, if I hadn’t been able to talk to Rose or have her by my side, I think I would have gone crazy,” LaPaglia said. “She helped me a lot from the beginning and continues to help me now. She’s amazing.” | BGNES
