The narrative and expression of North Macedonia’s Prime Minister Hristijan Mickoski will be left to those familiar with Aesop. The Republic of North Macedonia must adhere to the consensus reached in 2022 and fulfill the commitments it has undertaken.
This was stated by Bulgarian Prime Minister Rosen Zhelyazkov in connection with Mickoski's unacceptable and offensive language towards Foreign Minister Georg Georgiev, BGNES reports.
Yesterday Mickoski compared Georgiev to a "mouse" and likened himself to a "lion".
His words came after Minister Georgiev said earlier on July 10 that "the North Macedonian prime minister is clearly not excited about the positive developments in his country and is waging a battle of suggestions that are fruitless."
"I said that this boy was sent to attract my attention. I don't think we should give him a chance, and I appeal to you, the media. Leave this boy there. This is a government that someone else is running from the shadows. And they told him, gave him a task, go ahead, get involved. It's like a mouse teasing a lion," said Mickoski.
“Our colleague Mickoski must find a way to apologize”, advised Rosen Zhelyazkov.
The prime minister added that political maturity requires that agreements be implemented.
Trust is very fragile in these times, the prime minister noted.
Zhelyazkov stated that Bulgaria will continue to support the European path of the Republic of North Macedonia, but firmly based on the implementation of the commitments under the 2022 agreement and the good neighborliness agreement. | BGNES
