North Macedonia’s Prime Minister Hristijan Mickoski compared Bulgarian Foreign Minister Georg Georgiev to a “mouse,” while likening himself to a “lion,” BGNES reported.
His comments came after, earlier on July 10, Minister Georgiev stated that “the Prime Minister of North Macedonia is obviously not interested in the positive development of his country, but is fighting a battle of insinuations, which are fruitless.”
“I wouldn’t comment on this boy,” Mickoski stated, referring to the Bulgarian minister.
Calling him a “boy,” Mickoski claimed that Georgiev only does what someone from the outside tells him to do.
“I said that this boy was sent to get my attention. I don’t think we should give him the opportunity, and I appeal to you, the media: just leave that boy there. This is a government run by someone else from the shadows. And they told him, gave him a task: now go and provoke. This is like a mouse annoying a lion,” Mickoski said. | BGNES
