Six people were killed and 52 injured after a Russian air strike on Kiev

The nighttime drone attack came shortly after US President Donald Trump threatened to impose new tariffs on Russia within 10 days unless the Kremlin agreed to end its full-scale war against Ukraine.

Six people were killed and 52 wounded, including nine children, after Russian forces attacked the Ukrainian capital Kiev with drones and missiles. 

According to AFP, a 6-year-old boy was among the dead.

Three police officers were among the injured. A total of 29 people needed hospitalization at 7:00 a.m. local time, the Kiev Independent reported.

At least 27 locations in the city were hit, mainly in the Solominsky district, where an educational institution and a residential building were attacked, Timur Tkachenko, head of the city's military administration, wrote on his official Telegram channel. | BGNES
