Coca-Cola announced that Luisa Ortiga will take over as president of its European division, taking office on September 1. She will replace Nikos Koumentis, who will retire in 2026 after 25 years with the company.

Koumentis will remain in the position until February 28, 2026, in his capacity as senior advisor. He will also serve on the board of Hindustan Coca-Cola Beverages Pvt. Ltd. in India.

Ortiga joined Coca-Cola in 2019 and is currently president of its African division. In that role, she oversees a business that operates in 54 markets. | BGNES, AFP
