If you missed Ozzy Osbourne and Black Sabbath’s final performance, you’ll have another chance to relive it — this time on the big screen.
Earlier this month, the 76-year-old “Prince of Darkness” took the stage for the final time with the legendary band during the Back to the Beginning concert at Villa Park Stadium in Osbourne’s hometown of Birmingham, England. The event marked the symbolic end of his musical career after a series of health problems that began in 2018.
On Friday, July 18, Osbourne announced that the concert would be released in theaters as a full-length concert film, set for release in early 2026. titled: “Back To The Beginning: Ozzy’s Final Bow”
“We are proud to announce the upcoming theatrical release... Expect it in early 2026. The film will be a big-screen celebration of Ozzy Osbourne and the legacy of Black Sabbath – documenting the raw energy and emotional weight of his final tribute to fans in his native Birmingham,” reads the official announcement posted on the rock legend’s social media.
The film will feature a version of the all-day musical event and will be designed as a “love letter” to Ozzy and Black Sabbath’s innovative sound. Songs included will include classics such as “War Pigs,” “Iron Man,” “Children of the Grave” and the cult classic “Paranoid,” presented in a farewell, emotionally charged set. | BGNES
