Pamela Anderson: In Liam Neeson I found friend forever

The 58-year-old star is co-starring with the 72-year-old Hollywood actor in the upcoming remake of The Naked Gun.

Actress Pamela Anderson believes she has found a “friend forever” in Liam Neeson.

The 58-year-old star is co-starring with the 72-year-old Hollywood actor in the upcoming remake of The Naked Gun, and the two have quickly established a “very loving” and “sincere relationship.”

“I think I've found a friend forever in Liam, and we definitely have a very sincere and loving relationship, and he's a good person,” Pamela told Entertainment Weekly.

The former Playboy model noted how different their careers had been and that it was “very meaningful” for her to share the screen with the actor from “The Whole Nine Yards.”

"He's a true artist. He comes from theater and ‘Schindler's List’ and has been in over a hundred movies. And I did everything backwards, I came from television, and then my personal life overshadowed my professional life. It's funny: we all get here in different ways, but to be able to share this experience with him is very meaningful and a great honor," she said.

Liam wasn't sure what to expect from Pamela, who plays his character Lieutenant Frank Drebin Jr.'s love interest, Beth Davenport, but he was very impressed with her performance.

“She embraced and embodied the absurdity, the strangeness, and the intensity — and there was a slight sadness to her that was charming. She has this energy and innate sense of humor. And she's very easy on the eye,” he said.

Neeson previously admitted that he “fell madly in love” with Anderson while working on The Naked Gun.

"First of all, I'm madly in love with Pamela. Working with her is just great. Honestly, I can't praise her enough. She doesn't have a huge ego. She just comes in to do her job. She's funny and very easy to work with. She'll be great in the movie," he told People magazine.

Pamela described her relationship with Liam during the filming as “professionally romantic.”

She previously told Entertainment Weekly that they bonded with this “true gentleman” thanks to their mutual love of literature and good humor.

"I also baked sourdough bread for therapy and regularly shared it with him, along with cookies and muffins. We had many evenings with the cast. I invited him and his assistant to romantic evenings with me and my assistant, so our relationship remained ‘professionally romantic’ during filming," Anderson said. | BGNES
