The Central Election Commission of Bosnia and Herzegovina (CEC) will hold a meeting today. The proposed agenda includes an item related to the mandate of the President of Republika Srpska, Milorad Dodik.
On August 1, the Court of Appeals upheld Dodik's first-instance verdict of February 26, 2025. The decision is not subject to appeal.
Dodik was found guilty of committing the crime of "failure to implement the decisions of the High Representative" of the international community in Bosnia and Herzegovina, for which he was sentenced to one year in prison.
The court also imposed a security measure - a ban on holding political office for a period of six years. | BGNES
