A 38-year-old Greek citizen has been charged with sexually assaulting a minor in Bulgaria and her younger sister online. Criminal proceedings have been initiated against him by the Cybercrime Directorate of the Greek Police for a case of child pornography, Protagon reported.

The case was uncovered using information transmitted to the Greek police by the Bulgarian and American authorities through the Europol department of the Directorate for International Police Cooperation, regarding online sexual abuse of minors on the Internet.

The specific user, in a communication he had with a minor girl in Bulgaria, through online applications, using manipulation techniques and exercising psychological violence to instill fear in the girl, extracted sexual materials in which she participated. At the same time, he forced her to sexually assault her sister, who is also a minor.

The police investigation established the details of the 38-year-old man, and during investigations conducted at his home, in the presence of a court officer, two mobile phones and three hard drives were found and seized. | BGNES
