The revamped mixed doubles tournament at the US Open this year will feature star duos, including Grigor Dimitrov and women's world number 1 Aryna Sabalenka.

A total of 16 mixed doubles pairs will compete for the title. Eight of them entered based on rankings, and the remaining eight via wild card. The matches will be in a best-of-three format to four games and with a 10-point tiebreak if it comes down to a third deciding set.

The competition will be held on August 19-20. The winning pair will walk away with a check for $1 million.
