World football legend Cristiano Ronaldo has disappointed millions of fans of the beautiful game. On Saturday, he revealed that he will almost certainly not be taking part in the Club World Cup in the US.

He explained that he cannot participate in every tournament and must think in “the short, medium, and long term”:

"It is almost decided that I will not participate in the Club World Cup, despite many invitations and offers... the decision is almost made on my part.

There were talks and contacts... but you can't participate in all competitions, you have to think about the short, medium and long term. Ultimately, the decision has been made." |BGNES
