Russian President Vladimir Putin visited the border region of Kursk on Tuesday, the Kremlin said.

"Vladimir Putin made a working visit to the Kursk region," where he met with the acting governor and other officials, the statement said.

Ukrainian troops established control over parts of the Kursk region in August 2024, but were pushed back by Moscow's forces with the help of North Korean soldiers at the end of April this year. | BGNES
