In doing so, the Italian ended Nole’s dream of claiming a 25th Grand Slam title. In the final, the world No. 1 will face the defending champion, Carlos Alcaraz.

"Today I served very well, felt great on the court, and moved excellently. We saw in the third set that he was slightly injured. The situation was tough, but I tried to stay calm and play my best tennis," Sinner added.

Now he has the chance for revenge against the player who has won the last two Wimbledon titles and is currently the strongest on grass.
"For me, it’s a huge honor to be back on court with Carlos," Sinner said. "We both try to give our best; he is one of the players I look up to. I love watching him, and I think everyone knows what a talent he is. I hope it will be a good match, just like last time," he continued.

In all their encounters, Sinner trails 4–8, having lost the last five matches. However, the Italian can take motivation from the fact that he beat Alcaraz at Wimbledon in the fourth round back in 2022 — the Spaniard’s last loss at this tournament. | BGNES
