Trump to Zelensky: Why don't you strike Moscow?

Zelensky’s response was brief but firm: "We can if you give us the weapons."

U.S. President Donald Trump reportedly asked Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky why he hadn't struck Moscow, The Washington Post reported, citing sources within the American administration.
Zelensky’s response was brief but firm: "We can if you give us the weapons."

The exchange between the two leaders took place in the context of Trump’s new geopolitical offensive related to the war in Ukraine. The U.S. president has issued an ultimatum to Russia — if a peace agreement is not reached within 50 days, Moscow will face harsh sanctions, including 100% “secondary tariffs” on countries that continue to buy Russian oil.

During an official meeting at the White House with NATO Secretary-General Mark Rutte, Trump unveiled an ambitious arms initiative: the United States will sell weapons to European allies, who will then deliver the military aid to Ukraine. The plan aims to accelerate support for Kyiv without involving the U.S. directly in the transfer of arms.

According to Axios, the first wave of deliveries will be worth $10 billion. | BGNES
