President Volodymyr Zelensky said Ukraine and its allies must work together to pressure Russia to end the invasion, ahead of his talks in Berlin with European leaders and US President Donald Trump.
“Pressure must be applied to Russia for the sake of a just peace. We must learn from the experience of Ukraine and our partners to prevent deception by Russia. There are currently no signs that the Russians are preparing to end the war,” Zelensky said on social media.
He will be in Berlin on Wednesday, August 14, for talks with European leaders and Trump, ahead of the US president’s meeting with his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin. | BGNES
