Lindsay Lohan is going through a "learning process" as she tries to balance her Hollywood career with raising her young son.
The actress became a mother for the first time in 2023 when she gave birth to Luai, now 2, with her husband Bader Shamas.
Since then, she has returned to work to star in the remake of Mean Girls, appear in several Netflix films, and star in the sequel to Freaky Friday, Freakier Friday. Lindsay admitted that she is still trying to figure out how to balance work with her parental responsibilities.
"When you become a mother, your whole life changes, and it's important to be able to balance work and motherhood, which is definitely a learning process," she told the BBC.
The film Freakier Friday reunites the actress with her former co-star Jamie Lee Curtis, who insists she still sees herself as a mother figure to Lohan and was excited to meet her young son.
"I take my work seriously, and when I'm a mother or an older colleague to a young actor, I feel a great responsibility to show them that they can always count on my friendship and love. We were together from her teenage years to her twenties, and she recently brought her baby to see me in Los Angeles," Jamie told the media.
Lindsay and her family now live in Dubai, and she recently insisted that she can lead a much "normal" life in this glamorous city.
"It's far from Hollywood, and I lead a very normal life. I don't worry that I can't go eat at this place because someone will take pictures of my son. And I just feel very safe. You can't take pictures of someone if you're in a restaurant. You have to ask the person, which is a big difference from here," she explained during her appearance on Live with Kelly and Mark.
Lohan recently admitted that she has come a long way from her troubled years after becoming famous as a child star and now feels "more balanced" and "positive."
"I feel in harmony with myself because I have lived, figuratively speaking, a long life for such a young age. Now I feel wiser and very balanced. I have become an extremely positive person," she told CNN. | BGNES
