American actor and musician Jared Leto has been accused of sexual assault by several women.

Air Mail published an article following interviews with nine women who claim that the 53-year-old Leto behaved inappropriately toward them, some of whom were minors. The women claim that the actor has exhibited this pattern of behavior for years.

Leto asked a 16-year-old girl questions about sex, walked out of a room naked in front of a 17-year-old girl and masturbated, and made an 18-year-old put her hand on “him.”

Laura La Rue, a model who was 16 in 2008, remembers meeting Leto at an animal rights charity event that year and emailing him before he invited her to his studio. She visited his studio in April 2009 and remembers him “flirting” with her while she was there.

Leto came out naked from one of the rooms “as if it were normal” during one of their meetings.

“I thought maybe that's what older men do,” Ru told the publication.

Another woman claims she was 16 in 2008 when Leto approached her at a café in Los Angeles and took her number. Days later, Leto called her home in the middle of the night. The woman claims that after she rejected his invitation to attend a party, Leto continued to call her early in the morning for three weeks. The conversations were sexual in nature.

A third woman, who was a minor when she began texting Leto, said that the actor asked her uncomfortable questions during visits to his home and that on one occasion “he suddenly pulled out his penis and began masturbating.”
