US President Donald Trump has once again attacked pop star Taylor Swift, this time over actress Sydney Sweeney's controversial ad campaign for American Eagle.

Trump said Sweeney, a registered Republican, has the "hottest commercial" right now and praised her for "getting ripped off" jeans. Meanwhile, he called Swift a "woke singer" and added, "Since I said I can't stand her (I HATE HER!) she got booed at the Super Bowl and she's not hot anymore. Her time is up."

Sweeney has not publicly stated her political affiliation, but BuzzFeed reported that she will run for Republican in 2024, when Trump wins his second term. Her American Eagle campaign sparked controversy over a line about "good jeans and good genes," which many interpreted as a reference to racist rhetoric. Swift, for her part, has publicly opposed Trump's policies for years, most recently endorsing Kamala Harris in the 2024 election.
