The jury in the Weinstein case will continue deliberations and wants to review testimony

They also asked to review Mann's medical records when they reconvene for the fifth day.

The jury considering the fate of disgraced film mogul Harvey Weinstein, who is facing a retrial for rape and sexual assault, has retired without reaching a verdict after requesting to review a significant portion of the testimony.

The Oscar winner is facing a retrial for crimes against two women: Jessica Mann, who accuses him of rape, and Miriam Haley, who accuses him of sexual assault.

He also faces new charges of assault against former model Kaja Sokola.

Judge Curtis Farber said the jury members had asked to reread much of Mann's testimony, "starting from the moment she walked down the stairs of the DoubleTree hotel" in Manhattan to meet Weinstein on March 18, 2013, when she said he raped her.

They also asked to review Mann's medical records when they reconvene for the fifth day.

Weinstein's initial 2020 conviction and resulting 23-year sentence were overturned last year after an appeals court found irregularities in the presentation of witnesses.

He denies the latest allegations, and deliberations continue. |BGNES
