A woman told a US jury that hip-hop mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs hung her over a 17th-floor balcony before throwing her onto furniture in an attack that left her traumatized and bruised.
Brianna Bongolan testified during the ongoing federal criminal trial against the music icon in New York that she was staying with her friend Cassandra “Cassie” Ventura, Combs' ex-wife and a key witness in the case, who recently gave shocking testimony about violence and coercion.
While she was with Ventura, Combs burst into the apartment. Combs repeatedly yelled at her with abusive words and asked her, “You know what you did.”
The witness also recounted an incident in which she saw Combs throw a knife at Ventura.
The musician's lawyer, who is accused of racketeering and human trafficking for sexual exploitation, tried to portray Bongolan as a drug addict and an unreliable witness.
Bongolan is among dozens of people who have filed civil lawsuits against Combs in recent years. She emphasized that the incident left her with post-traumatic stress, including recurring nightmares and paranoia. | BGNES, AFP
