Arsenal management has finally announced the transfer of midfielder Martin Zubimendi from Real Sociedad. The Gunners are expected to pay around 65 million euros in the deal.
The Londoners could have paid 5 million less, but did not take advantage of the release clause. Now, however, they will be able to pay in installments, instead of all at once.
The 26-year-old is Arsenal's second signing of the summer transfer window after Kepa Arrizabalaga. Arsenal are also expected to finalize a deal with Brentford for midfielder Christian Norgaard.
"This is an important moment in my career. This is the move I was looking for and wanted to make. As soon as you step foot here, you realize how big this club and this team is," said Zubimendi during his presentation. |BGNES
