Jennifer Lopez returns to her short-lived marriage to Ben Affleck.

The "Hustlers" star performed six new songs to 30 fans at an exclusive listening party in Los Angeles on Wednesday night, with one of them -- "Wreckage of You" -- apparently dedicated to her "very difficult" split from the actor, Page Six reports.

"'Wreckage of You' is a pop ballad she told us she wrote and recorded two weeks ago," said attendee Edgardo Luis Rivera. "She said she was lying in bed after a long day of rehearsals for the tour when the idea for the song came to her. She mentioned that last year was a very difficult time for her both personally and professionally. She had to cancel her tour and focus on herself," the fan added.

"A year later, she's feeling better and stronger than ever, so she wanted to write a song about standing up after a bad situation, coming out stronger." 

Lopez "kept thinking of the word 'wreck' because it means destruction, but it wasn't destroyed," Rivera told the publication. "In fact, the lyrics of the song say, 'I got stronger after the destruction you caused me.'" Another guest at the event confirmed Rivera's words, describing the new ballad as "a very emotional, inspirational song about coming out of a relationship a stronger person."

The other songs that were performed - "Up All Night," "Regular," "Free," "Save Me Tonight" and "Birthday" - according to Rivera are more energetic and "have a real vibe."

Reps for Affleck and Lopez did not immediately respond to Page Six's requests for comment.

Lopez, 55, drew attention in August 2024 when she surprisingly filed for divorce from Affleck after two years of marriage.

The separation came months after it was revealed they had been separated since April of that year. 

Their divorce was finalized in January, but its terms didn't take effect until February 21 - when Lopez and the "Gone Girl" star, 52, officially became unattached.

The "Dance Again" singer seems to have come out stronger after the divorce, with a source revealing to Us back in March that Lopez was "ready" to start going out on dates again.

"Jennifer is ready to show off again and hasn't given up on finding love," an insider shared.

"Her friends are supportive of her going out on dates and she's definitely open to dating a new person." | BGNES
