Kris Jenner and her longtime partner Corey Gamble have long since moved past the honeymoon phase, Page Six reported. According to a source close to the couple, the two sometimes “get on each other’s nerves,” which is also the reason behind their recent public arguments.
“Kris and Corey occasionally argue because they irritate each other, just like any couple,” the source explained.
The 69-year-old Jenner and 44-year-old Gamble were spotted in a tense conversation during the final show of Beyoncé’s Cowboy Carter tour, which took place in Las Vegas. According to the source, it was simply a regular disagreement between them.
“Kris isn’t someone who calms down easily or feels comfortable stepping back, and Corey usually lets her be herself. But sometimes even he reaches a breaking point, responds to her, and things escalate. Their latest argument was exactly that kind of moment,” the source added.
“They’re simply a couple that occasionally gets tired of each other. These brief spats are probably the most relatable and human side of Kris in the eyes of the public.”
A representative for Jenner has not responded to a request for comment.
Eyewitnesses report that Kris was seen walking away from Corey in the VIP section during the Beyoncé concert after a “visibly tense” conversation. Her daughter Khloé Kardashian appeared to try to calm the “frustrated” Gamble with hand gestures meant to reassure him.
Jenner and Gamble have been together since 2014.
Later, Kris posted lighthearted moments from the concert on Instagram alongside stars such as Oprah Winfrey, Gayle King, and Tyler Perry — but Corey did not appear in any of the photos.
Their recent argument follows another uncomfortable moment caught on video during the wedding of Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sánchez in Venice, Italy, last month. Kris was visibly annoyed with her longtime partner regarding their water taxi ride after the ceremony. Lip readers told Daily Mail that Jenner insisted on traveling alone and asked Gamble, “What are you doing? Do you need to talk? I told you… for God’s sake… I want to travel alone.” |BGNES
