Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko has stated that he does not plan to run for another presidential term.

"No, I no longer plan to, I no longer plan to," Lukashenko said in an interview with Time magazine, broadcast on the First Information Channel television channel.

Lukashenko noted that he is younger than US President Donald Trump and is also in good physical shape.

"If Trump is about to turn 80 and looks good, then I am also a sporty person, I try to lead such a lifestyle. He doesn't drink alcohol — I don't drink, I don't smoke — he doesn't smoke either. I think I can compete with him in terms of health, even though our fugitives bury me every month. Trump is like a bulldozer, like a horse. I will try to be stronger than Trump," he said.
