Liverpool have started pushing talks with Newcastle for Alexander Isak, according to transfer experts Fabrizio Romano and David Ornstein. There is no concrete offer at this stage, but the Magpies have been informed of Anfield's interest.

According to Ornstein, Liverpool are ready to pay at least £120 million for Isak. At least half of this amount is expected to come from the upcoming sale of Darwin Nunes.

At the same time, Liverpool and Newcastle have set their sights on Hugo Ekitike. Eintracht Frankfurt even rejected a £70 million offer for the Frenchman. |BGNES
