Singer Rihanna "has always wanted" to have a baby girl.

The 37-year-old star is currently pregnant with her third child and, having already had two sons with A$AP Rocky, she admitted that she would like to have a daughter one day.

When asked about the baby's gender, Rihanna replied to Extra: "You'll have to wait and see. Oh my God, will you be very disappointed if it's a boy?"

Terry Seymour from Extra replied: "I think we're secretly hoping you have a girl because you already have two cute, cute boys."

The singer, who already has 3-year-old RZA and 23-month-old Riot, later admitted that she would like to have a girl, even though she enjoys the experience of raising her two sons.

"I've always wanted a girl. God knows best, right? And I love my boys," she explained.

Rihanna also confirmed that her baby's name will start with the letter "R," describing it as a "tradition."

"Of course. It's already a tradition," she said.

In recent years, Rihanna has enjoyed tremendous success with her makeup and lingerie brands, putting her music career on the back burner.

However, the singer admitted in 2024 that motherhood has completely changed her attitude toward fashion and style.

"I spend more time dressing my kids, and then I think, 'What's the most comfortable thing I can wear around them? What won't irritate their face or body, or make me feel uncomfortable when I'm holding them? In real life, mothers are lazy when it comes to dressing," she said in an interview with Interview magazine.

Rihanna has already achieved billionaire status, but she is still happy that her youngest son wears RZA's old clothes.

When asked if she has "racks of children's clothes," the Smurfs star replied, "I have racks, I have bags. They're all sorted by size and organized, and anything that gets too small for RZA, I put in bins so that Riot can wear them after him. Riot already wears all of RZA's clothes from when he was one year old. He's only six months old. Everyone thinks Rocky dresses them because I dress them in Rocky's style." | BGNES
