Newcastle reject Liverpool's first official bid for Isak

There will be a second bid from the Reds.

Newcastle United have rejected Liverpool's first official bid for Alexander Isak. Sky Sports News reports that the Reds' offer was worth £110m plus add-ons. However, the total package fell short of £120m.

Newcastle are reluctant to part ways with their big star, valuing the Sweden international at £150m. Earlier this week, it emerged that Isak is training alone at his former club Real Sociedad's training ground amid uncertainty over his future at St James' Park.

The 25-year-old has already informed Newcastle's management that he wants to leave.

Liverpool will not give up on Isak and will send a second bid for him. According to reports, Newcastle will not let the 25-year-old striker leave without receiving the requested amount, as well as without having signed his replacement.
