European champion PSG has total dominance in the nominated players for the “Ballon d’Or”. Earlier on August 7, the official list of nominees became clear. The ceremony is scheduled for September 22, when the big winner will be announced. The favorites are the winner of the Champions League with PSG - Ousmane Dembele, and the super talent Lamine Yamal from Barcelona.

The other nominees among the “princes” are Gianluigi Donnarumma, Desire Due, Nuno Mendes, Fabian Ruiz, Joao Neves, Vitinha, Hvica Kvaratschelija and Achraf Hakimi. With their nine players, PSG set an absolute record, as these are almost 1/3 of all nominees (30). Meanwhile, legends Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo are not among the nominees.

Meanwhile, the first-ever Club World Cup winner has one nominee in Cole Palmer. Besides Lamine Yamal, the other Barcelona nominees are Robert Lewandowski, Pedri and Rafinha.
